Easy "Pumpkin" Egg In A Hole For Breakfast! Or Make An Egg In The Hole Sandwich! Happy Breakfast!🎃

Updated: Nov 3, 2020

We make this classic breakfast often during school days.......because it is quick, tastes good, and is cute!!

Use a cookie cutter to cut out shape

Recipe:

  1. Use a cookie cutter (round, square, or themed, it doesn't matter!) to cut out a hole in the middle of a piece of bread.

  2. Spay pan and both sides of bread with cooking spray. Add a little butter for flavor and browning. Heat the pan to medium, and put the the bread in the pan for a minute or two. Be sure to spray and season the pumpkin cut outs as well! They make a great snack!

  3. Add the eggs in the middle of the bread; then season with salt, pepper, garlic, and cover the lid.

4. Cook until the yolks and the whites are mostly cooked. Spray with cooking spray one more time, and carefully flip the bread/egg over, and cook the other side for one more minute, or until desired doneness.

Serve with a Pumpkin Latte, and that's my kind of breakfast!
