It's Taco Tuesday, or Wednesday...Any Day is a Good Day for Tacos!🌮

Use an inverted muffin pan as a taco holder!

Crisp over a gas burner

Tacos are so fun and so versatile. They will satisfy a crowd, or just your family!

You can use lean ground beef, or not! Ground turkey or chicken....even fish or shrimp....it is up to you!

General Recipe for Ground Meat:

  1. Brown 1/2 of a minced onion in olive oil. Add two pounds of ground meat. I used lean ground meat in this recipe.

  2. Cook until no longer pink. Add a taco seasoning mix packet, or make your own....See below......add water if needed. I always add garlic powder, and maybe salt.

  3. Serve meat in taco shells or tortillas. To brown tortillas, use the open flame of the burner on your gas stove. Place tortilla on the grate. Brown on both sides. Watch closely. Or Cook in a pan with a little olive oil on medium-high heat. Brown on both sides.

4. Serve with lots of fixings...cut up veggies such as red, green, yellow peppers, shredded lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, cheese, sliced avocados, chopped green onions, cilantro, etc.!

Bon appétit!!

....And happy Taco Tuesday, Wednesday, or Whatever!

It's Taco Tuesday somewhere! 🌮
