Updated: Oct 8, 2021

Halloween lollipops that are a fun craft for kids
The treats are ready for William's Halloween Party!🎃

These Halloween "Lollipops" are so cute and perfect for your Halloween treat bags and Boo Bags! Click the highlighted title to get instructions and ideas for Booing your neighbors with Boo Treat Bags.

They are several smaller items such as candy and small toys wrapped in crepe paper and then dressed up to look like a lollipop. When the kids unroll the crepe paper, they will get a fun surprise as the cute treats fall out.

This can be a cute craft idea for older kids and teenagers.

At Christmas time, we do a bigger version of this in a game format. We wrap up gifts, candy, money, etc. in plastic wrap...one strip at a time. When you begin to unwrap the big plastic wrap ball, gifts fall out. My sister-in-law, Suzahn, introduced this game to our family. 💕 More information about that around Christmas time.🎁

small items to wrap in the craft
You can use more than one color of crepe paper!
  1. Get your supplies together. Here is what you will need: Crepe paper, scissors, tape, small gifts such as small candy, toys, and stickers, cute paper straws, and cellophane bags with ties.

Use small candy & gifts when wrapping crepe paper.

2. Start with a piece of candy or a small toy, and wrap crepe paper around it. Keep wrapping in all different directions. Add more items as you go.

This is harder than it sounds. It works best if you use smaller items.

The idea is to form a circle or a square.

3. Once all the items are wrapped (I suggest 2 or 3), put the paper straw on the back, and wrap the crepe paper several times around it to secure it. It is helpful to use tape to secure tightly. Tape is also helpful to patch the crepe paper if it tears.

Add more items to the bag if you like!

4. I found some clear cellophane bags with ties. I also found some miniature holiday note pads. (You don't have to use the notepads). Put the notepads on top of the "lollipop".

I should have added a cute ribbon! I will before the party!

5. Cut the cellophane bag in half. Wrap everything in the cellophane, and secure with the tie. Tie a decorative ribbon for a cute touch!

Note: This may not be suitable for small children, due to the possible risk of choking on small toys and candy.

I hope you have fun with this cute craft and treat! Happy Fall, Happy Halloween!!🍁🎃
