Pudding Mousse Pie:
What I love about this pie, is it is easy and so versatile. You just change the flavor of pudding to change the pie. You can make this pie in minutes! So great when you need a dessert in a hurry. đ
Ingredients:
1.-One store bought or *home-made Graham Cracker Crust
2.- One 2 ounce package of instant pudding, any flavor or ........two 1.4 ounce packages of pudding of the same flavor or two different flavors.
3.-Milk, whole, or you can use two percent, or one percent. Use 1/2 of the amount recommended to make pudding on the package. For example, if the package says use 3 cups of milk for the pudding; use 1 1/2 cups of milk.
4.-One 8 ounce tub of cool whip, regular or light.
* If I use the 2 ounce pudding, I use one flavor like cookies and cream. If I use two 1.4 ounce packages, I will use two flavors like chocolate and white chocolate and layer them.
Directions:
1. Using a whisk, mix together the pudding and cold milk until blended. Mix until slightly thickened...the mixture may still look a little grainy.
2. Slowly and gently fold in the cool whip with a spatula until blended.
3. Pour the pudding mixture into the pie crust.
4. If using 2 different flavors, repeat above, and carefully pour on top of first layer,
5. Garnish with additional cool whip and other ingredients like chocolate shavings.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
